Erik has a deep passion for value creation through advanced analytics and machine learning. At idalab, he focuses on the design and implementation of predictive solutions in durables, med-tech and wholesale industries. He has over 25 years international experience as digital expert, general manager and strategy consultant. Past roles include President of Carl Zeiss Sports Optics North America, VP Corporate Development for Hilti AG and Carl Zeiss AG as well as Principle at The Boston Consulting Group. He lived 13 years in the US, and his formal education includes a PhD in quantum optics from the University of Arizona and an MBA from INSEAD.
